Romania's adhering to the European economic and social structures imposed a major reconsidering and restructuring of the pharmaceutical education in order to be in agreement with the European Union regulations.

Pharmaceutical education has seen a switch towards medical and biological sciences with an obvious pragmatic character, directed towards the patient needs, without neglecting the traditional component, based mainly on chemistry and plant sciences, as an interface between the pharmaceutical industry and the medical system. Providing an appropriate context to implement strategies in the healthcare domain and promoting health education, our university curricula was reconsidered and remodeled according to the requirements of the European Union and World Health Organization.

The mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy is to train specialists in different fields of pharmaceutical sciences.
Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy include two study programs:
- Pharmacy, 5 years, 300 ECTS, languages of instruction - Romanian, Hungarian;
- Medical cosmetics and technology of cosmetic product, 3 years, 180 ECTS, language of instruction - Romanian

- solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cosmetic product;

- knowledge of chemistry, technology and analysis of cosmetic product;

- practical skills necessary to achieve simple procedures for body beauty maintenance.

Students interested in research are involved in research activities as members of one of the students research groups organized in each discipline. The teaching and research staff of these groups introduce students to scientific research, help them carry out projects, and encourage them to present their results at scientific meetings. This kind of extracurricular activity is very important for those who are interested in obtaining a master or PhD degree.

Master studies are organized at the Faculty of Pharmacy according to the specific education, professional training and research mission undertaken by the faculty. Considering the institutional management policy of diversity in unity, the Faculty of Pharmacy has developed three master studies in the following domains:
