Registration period for French government scholarships - 2013-2014

The French Embassy offers scholarships to Romanian students who wish to pursue a specialisation in France, in the academic year 2013-2014:

1. Master’s scholarships 2: students enrolled or having completed the first year of a master’s degree in Romania and who wish to attend the 2nd master’s year in France.

2. Joint doctoral scholarships: for students enrolled or having completed 5 years of study in Romania, or are currently in the first year of a joint doctoral degree in France.

3. Copernic scholarships: engineers, economists and lawyers who want to attend a one-year training programme in management, under the Copernic Programme.

« Joint doctoral studies »

Call open December 15 2015 - February 28 2016

 

Type of programme:

A 12-month scholarship in France divided over a period of the three years in order to complete the doctoral thesis. The programme is dedicated to joint doctoral projects between France and Romania.

 

Eligibility:

Romanian citizens holders of a Master's degree or candidates who are enrolled in the second year of a Master's programme. Doctoral students enrolled in the first year during 2015/ 2016 are also eligible.

 

Advantages:

The French Government scholarship is a lump sum and has the following advantages:

 - a monthly grant of €1060 for 12 months, distributed over 3 years during which the doctoral thesis will be written (2017 to 2019, generally from February to May).

- coverage of the registration fee of the host institution

- coverage of social insurance and civilian responsibility

- possibility of accommodation on campus in case of vacancy or an allowance for accommodation

- allowance for the purchase of study materials (written and electronic references)

- welcoming and counselling during the stay in France

« Master 2 » PROGRAMME

Call open December 15 2015 - February 28 2016

 

Type of programme:

Scholarship (between 5 and 10 months), in France, for the second year of the Master's degree. The embassy reserves the right to establish the duration of the scholarship (maximum 10 months), depending on the choice of the candidate.

Eligibility:

·         Romanian citizens who have completed four years of higher education (undergraduate or Master's 1) or who are enrolled in the fourth year of study (undergraduate) or Master's 1.

·         Students enrolled in France in  2015/2016 or before are also eligible.

·         Students who have already completed or are currently completing an Erasmus mobility are also eligible.
